Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex?—More Questions You’d Only Ask a Doctor After Your Third Whiskey Sour: Mark Leyner and Billy Goldberg, M.D.

“THE DOCTOR IS IN…AGAIN!

“Did the mega-bestselling Why Do Men Have Nipples? exhaust your curiosity about stuff odd, icky, kinky, noxious, libidinous, or just plain embarrassing? No, you say? Well, good, because the doctor and his able-bodied buddy are in! Again! Mark Leyner and Billy Goldberg, M.D., now take on the differences between the sexes—those burning questions like Why doesn’t my husband ever listen? or Why does my wife ALWAYS have to pee? And of course, Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex?, plus plenty of others to keep you fully informed.

“Full of smart and funny answers to an onslaught of new questions, all in a do-ask-we’ll-tell spirit that entertain and teaches you something at the same time, Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex? Offers the real lowdown on everything everyone wants to know about all things anatomical, medical, sexual, nutritional, animal, and mineral, but would only ask a physician after a few too many, like:
· Why do you have a “bionic” sense of smell when you’re pregnant?
· Does peeing in the shower cure athlete’s foot?
· Can you breastfeed with fake boobs?
· Does thumb sucking cause buckteeth?
· Do your eyebrows grown back if shaved?

“Bigger, funnier, and better than ever, Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex? proves that in the battle of the sexes, as in most things, a little Q&A is a safe, effective, minimally invasive remedy.”

After reading the first book by the dynamic duo, I was SO excited to discover that they’d written another one! This book is just as fun and witty as the first and I devoured it. It didn’t even feel like I was actually learning something about the human body. I love it when books do that.

Leyner and Goldberg definitely lived up to my expectations in this often hilarious sequel.

Touch of Enchantment (Sequel to Breath of Magic): Teresa Medeiros

“A LOVELY SCIENTIST WITH NO TASTE FOR MAGIC

“Heiress Tabitha Lennox considered her paranormal talents more a curse than a gift. So she dedicated her life to the cold, rational world of science. Until the day she examined the mysterious amulet her mother had left her and found herself catapulted seven centuries into the past—directly into the path of a rearing black charger ridden by a chain-mailed warrior.

“A FEARLESS KNIGHT WITH NO TIME FOR LOVE

“Sir Colin of Ravenshaw had returned from the Crusades to find his castle in ruins, his enemy poised to overrun the land where generations of Ravenshaws had ruled. The last thing he expected was to half trample a damsel with odd garb and even odder manners. But it is her strange talent that will create trouble beyond Colin’s wildest imaginings. For everyone knows that a witch must be burned…but it is Colin’s heart that is aflame, over an enchanting woman he must not love, yet cannot live without.”

This book was sweet and I really enjoyed this sequel to Breath of Magic. The characters were easy to like and it was fun to see what life was like for Tristan and Arian after the first book finished. I did find myself giggling at certain parts and almost crying at others.

This book did take a short while to get going, but it was well worth it. I really liked the character of Colin of Ravenshaw. He was likable and sweet…in a tough-guy kind of way. I think the plot was fun to follow and made sense (well, for this set of books it did!) and I liked the twists and turns it took. As always, I will definitely read more of Teresa Medeiros in the future because she keeps on making me smile!

One Night of Scandal (Sequel to A Kiss Remember): Teresa Medeiros

“Proper decorum has never come easily to Carlotta Anne Fairleigh—not even tonight, when the lovely, impetuous miss is finally making her debut. As she waits to make her entrance, she can’t help wondering about the darkened house next door, the supposedly abandoned home of Hayden St. Clair, the man society has dubbed the “Murderous Marquess.” Certainly one small peek through his window before the festivities would be harmless…

“And, naturally, this latest “adventure” ends in disaster, thoroughly compromising the budding debutante’s reputation and leaving her suddenly, unthinkably…betrothed! Soon she’d en route to the wilds of Cornwall in the company of the handsome, mysterious marquess whose name the ton whisper with fear and loathing.

“Yet there is something thrilling—and surprisingly tender—about her dark unreachable groom, and the desire in his eyes is undeniable. But before Lottie will surrender to the yearnings in her heart, she must unlock the secrets of Hayden’s past, no matter how scandalous or perilous—they may be.”

This book was fantastic! I love Teresa Medeiros and she certainly did NOT disappoint me with this sequel to her final installment of the Fairy Tale Series, A Kiss to Remember. This follows Laura’s younger sister, Lottie, as she finds herself in a scrape that no amount of help from her brother-in-law’s power and influence can get her out of.

The readers are introduced to Hayden and, at first; they can almost believe the rumors that he killed his first wife in cold blood. As the story goes on, they can see that he is a man haunted by more than one ghost. He has a secret to hide and Lottie is determined to make the best of the situation—even when she discovers that very secret he is trying to keep.

I was not used to the supernatural aspect that this book brought to the table, but it was a delectable story nonetheless!

I completely fell for the characters and I didn’t want this book to end. I cannot wait to read more of her works!
